We had a great last day before Christmas Break! We started off the day by "lighting" all 4 candles on the Advent wreath. Baby Jesus is almost here!
During Writing Time, we drew our self-portraits and wrote our name for our December page in our portfolios.
Then we did some sorting on the carpet using pom-poms. Today we sorted by size: big, medium, small.
Then it was time for some dancing, since it was raining and we were stuck inside! We stomped like dinosaurs...
jumped like kangaroos...
and ended it with one of our favorites..."Octopus"
Then it was the time for the party! Thanks to the Room Moms and parent helpers! We had a blast!
We made reindeer food to put out on our yards for Santa's reindeer.
Then we read the Nativity Story to remind us the true reason for Christmas.
Then we made Candy Cane ornaments.
And then had fun decorating foam trees with stickers.
We enjoyed our snack; graham crackers and icing with sprinkles! Yummy!
What a great party!
