Pictures for Dec. 15th

We started our day off with gym.  We walked forward on the balance beam.  Mrs. Robertson worked with students who were hopping on one foot and then switching to the other foot.  Then we got out the hula hoops and practiced throwing and making a basket!

On the way back from gym, we found a toad on the sidewalk!
Then we did our attendance on the SMARTboard and worked with pipe cleaners and sparkly beads.
The students had to lace the beads on the pipe cleaner.  I then had them put a certain number of beads on the pipe cleaner.  We worked with numbers 1-4.  The students were then able to take the pipe cleaner and the beads home.  This is a great activity to do at home to work those small motor muscles and hand/eye coordination and also counting skills!

 Our completed attendance chart!
Then it was Jesus Time.  For the story, we dressed up in costumes!  The kids loved it and it was very fun to do the story this way!

Everyone gathered around to worship baby Jesus!

After snack, it was Music Time!  This class loves to move and sing!  We did a new clapping song!

We also did a jumping song!

During Center Time, the students were able to play with the costumes.  Many of them spent their whole Center Time dressing up and acting out the story.  It was fun to watch!

Some of us finished our Christmas tree pictures!  You will get those next week!

Another great day in school!
