Today we started off with some time in the gym! We worked on the opposites of in/out. When the students came to a hula hoop, they had to jump in and them jump out. Each of the students had to jump in with two feet and then later we tried hopping in on one foot.
Then they students had to walk over the hurdles to get back to the hula hoops.
Then it was off to church to practice lining up for the Christmas service.

Then back in the classroom after snack we worked on patterns. I had a candy cane shapes and the students had to make an ABAB pattern using 2 color tiles. They did great!
For Jesus Time, we reviewed the story of Jesus being born. We moved the Nativity pieces on the SMARTboard to help us tell the story.

During Center Time, the students had a chance to play with "water beads". Everyone enjoyed feeling these beads.
Then we worked on a "surprise" Christmas gift for our families! You will get those gifts next week!
