Today we started with gym and had fun throwing balls and catching them. We worked on the overhand throw!
Then we played a rousing game of Duck, Duck, Goose! This was a great game for us to practice following rules, taking turns, and cheering on our friends! It was fun to watch! :)
Back in the classroom, we enjoyed hearing the story of Jonah today! The students had fun listening to the Jonah song that is by Jennie Williamson, a wonderful Christian recording artist. We sing several of her songs at school and the kids love them, so if you are ever looking for a CD for your kids, I would highly recommend her! She is with Arison Records.
During Writing Time, we practiced writing letters on the chalkboard! It is so exciting to see how they are so excited to write! A whole new world has opened up for them. :)
Then we worked on our counting skills again with a fun activity. I wrote a number on the SMARTboard and they had to find that number of things in the classroom! Today we did 2,3, and 4.

Then we worked on drawing lines. We decorated Easter eggs using straight lines and zig zag lines. Next week we will paint over them to finish the project.
A busy fun day in preschool!
