October 6th Pictures

Today we started a new Bible story during Jesus time.  We read the story of Abraham and how God promised that Abraham would have a baby and we know that God always keeps His promises!

In gym, we had fun "bowling".  Each child was paired up with someone and they took turns trying to knock down the pins.  We have some really good bowlers in the group! :)

During Writing time, we worked on our capital letters and wood pieces with Mrs. Robertson, while I worked with small groups of students on holding the crayon correctly while they colored their "red" paper.

I brought in a bunch of tree books from the library and the kids had fun looking at all different types of trees.

Our rainbow collage is complete and up in the hallway so come check it out!  Thank you for finding objects to bring in.  The students were so excited to show everyone what they brought in.  If you haven't brought your bag back, don't worry.  Whenever you bring it in, we will add those items onto our collage.

Today in your child's folder is a time for your Parent/Teacher Conference.  Please email me if you have any questions regarding that time.

Next week we will just have school on Tuesday.  We will NOT have chapel that day.
Our chapel offerings are going to the ministry of "Giving Gardens".  Our chapel money will go to purchase seeds for people in other countries to help them grow their own food.  If you want more information here is the website:  http://www.wheatridge.org/givinggardens

Please remember that tonight is our Preschool/Kindergarten Movie Night!  I hope to see your family at 6:00 p.m. at Zion's church basement for some Veggie Tale fun!

Mrs. Robertson and I are having a blast with your kids!  They have such fun personalities and we are so excited to continue to watch them "Grow in God's Grace" the rest of the school year!

Before we went bowling, we practiced with a partner rolling it back and forth.

Then we got to do the real thing; some of us knocked over stacks of cups.

Some of us got to knock over pins.
