Today we reviewed the story of Abraham and what God had promised him! God promised Abraham that he would have as many people in his family as there are stars in the sky. To help us remember that promise, we all painted stars on our Abraham poster! Whenever we see a star in the sky, we can remember that God keeps his promises!
During our Writing Time, we practiced tapping our wood pieces. We worked on where the top, middle, and bottom is on our pieces. This will help the students later on when they are writing and they have to use the top, middle, and the bottom lines on the paper to make their letters.
During Center Time, I pulled several kids out to paint a tree. They had to look a picture and try to make their tree look like the one in the picture. We will finish this up next week.
During outdoor play, several of the students got together for some Dramatic Play using the big logs on the playground. It was fun to watch them work and play together.
Please remember that we do not have school on Thursday, so the next time I will see you is on Tuesday!
Next Tuesday we will have chapel.
Have a great rest of the week and weekend!
