September 1st Pictures

Today was a busy day for us!  We went to gym, had a fire drill, reviewed the days of Creation and made a page for our Creation book.  This was all done before 9:00 a.m.! :)   We enjoyed center time today because we opened up a new center, the sensory table.  In the sensory table this month are shells from the ocean and water.  The kids enjoyed pouring the water into and out of the shells.  We also learned 2 new fun songs today.  When we have them down pat, I will video tape them so you can see your child singing some silly songs.  We ended our day by coloring a green picture in our journal.  Another great day in Preschool!

Today we worked on jumping forward and backward on a line

I played a new song from my computer so that we could tap our wood pieces in rhythm with the music.

We then put the wood pieces on different parts of our bodies.  We are putting them on our ears in this picture.  We all thought we looked pretty silly with wood pieces on our ears.

All of a sudden we had a band playing over at the block center.  Today we discovered that the foam blocks make a fun sound when we bang them together.

The kids decided to move the chairs over to the carpet so that they could arrange them in a new pattern!
