We had a fun and creative day! We started our day off with time in the gym. We pretended to be animals and had fun hopping, crawling, and flying around the gym!

Then we got out the mats and practiced rolling!
Then it was back to the classroom! We had fun singing a new silly song, "Down By the Bay." This is a great song that deals with rhyming words!
Then for Jesus Time, we read the story of "Jesus Walking on Water." What an awesome miracle! We ended our time singing "My God is so Great!" I posted the video in an earlier post. The kids did a great job of praising God!
Then we made our snowpeople! This involved a lot of various skills (problem solving, creative thinking, small motor, etc.) Each child cut snowballs out of paper and then had fun deciding how to make their snowpeople! It took a long time and we made a mess, but the results are awesome! We still have 4 students that will finish their project up next week!
This is picture below is a great example of a child working at the block center and applying critical thinking skills so that her creation does not fall down!
We enjoyed some time during Writing Time going over 3 letters and singing a new "ABC" song. Then at the end of the day, we created a heart painting that looks awesome! We painted with corn syrup and food coloring! The kids had a blast!
